I have posted a slide show of grandparents' lunch - with apologies to those grandparents and children that I missed. I thought I had gotten everybody, but I did not. :( Nevertheless, I hope you all enjoyed yourselves. The children were very excited!
We have two events coming up - the movie this Friday, and our trip to the Currier Art Museum on May 9th. Be sure to send in permission for your child to come with us if you have not already done so.
This week, Eli, Grace, Ahmed and Tiffany performed a readers' theater rendition of The Bremen Town Musicians for their classmates. They rehearsed and performed on their own, and they did a great job! I was very proud of their self-discipline and problem solving. This class loves to perform, so we will continue with these productions.
All first graders are writing animal research reports this spring. We will begin our research this week - with the finished product completed mid-May.
